Harlaxton Estates vision when not only developing but enhancing existing sites is to deliver and cleaner, greener footprint and to limit our negative impact on the environment.

At Harlaxton Estates, sustainability isn't just a buzzword—it's the foundation of everything we do. We've integrated eco-friendly practices into every stage of our property development and management, from energy-efficient building designs to sourcing sustainable materials. Our commitment to reducing our carbon footprint has led to significant milestones, including the installation of solar panels across our portfolio and achieving green certifications for our newest developments.
We're proud to be leading the way in sustainable commercial real estate, ensuring that every project not only meets the needs of our clients but also respects and enhances the environment we all share.
Working with one of our onsite tenants and UK’s best solar panel and EV charger installers -Greenio Ltd over the summer of 2023 we installed the latest in solar technology to our serviced office buildings.

LED Lighting In 2023, T5 and T8 fluorescent and compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) were phased out in accordance with the European Commission's Ecodesign and RoHS Directives. The reason is to remove the most energy- and resource-demanding products from the market and the use of environmentally hazardous mercury. All our LED lights work off motion detection sensors meaning they are only every on when needed.
All of our offices benefit from individual air conditioning units. The benefits are that heat is drawn from ambient air rather than being generated by burning fuel and this use of renewable energy is what reduces the running costs and makes air conditioners a much better option for the future of our planet.
Our air conditioning units are highly efficient, producing around 3 kilowatts of heat for every kilowatt of electricity used compared to 1 kilowatt from traditional central heating systems.
